A chicken restaurant with a long history in Raleigh is getting a new home.
Mami’s Latin Style Rotisserie Chicken at 2401 Wake Forest Road — formerly known as Mami Nora’s — has leased 5,936 square feet at the Salvage Yard, an adaptive reuse development at Raleigh Iron Works. The restaurant plans to open there in late 2025 and will be vacating its Wake Forest Road location. The property was sold last year to a neighboring car dealership.
The Salvage Yard — a Grubb Ventures development — already has multiple tenants: the Triangle Rock Club, which opened in December, and NOCO, a Bond Brothers taproom opening later this year. The music venue Cannonball Music Hall appears to also be under construction at the Salvage Yard.
